ISP International Space Propulsion Limited was formed in October 2001 to provide space propulsion engineering services primarily within Europe.
Since its inception, the Company has expanded to meet both market and client’s requirements. In 2001, the Company performed a single subsystem engineering support role on the procurement and provision of propulsion equipment to the Radarsat 2 programme. |

SAR-Lupe FM5
The successful fuelling campaign prior to the launch of SAR-Lupe FM5 was led by ISP (in conjunction with EADS Astrium GmbH for OHB System). The spacecraft was launched on 22nd July 2008, and is performing well in orbit.
http://www.ohb-system.de/gb/News/presse/2207_08.html. SAR-Lupe 5 marks the completion of Germany’s first satellite-based reconnaissance system, following on from previous successes on FM1 to FM4, with all launch campaigns supported by ISP. The SAR Lupe propulsion system is a monopropellant design, and all launches were from Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia.

Giove B UpdateFollowing the successful launch campaign and in-orbit operation of GIOVE B, ESA recently awarded the GIOVE-B diploma to all those involved, in recognition of their efforts. Rob Lenaghan (ISP Test and Launch Services) directed the propulsion system testing and propellant loading campaign at the Baikonur Kosmodrome, Kazakhstan, on behalf of the Propulsion Contractor EADS Astrium and the ISP Group. The satellite is in excellent health and performing well.
The ISP Group are proud to have been involved in supporting this programme and assisting in achieving this latest milestone in developing Europe's Galileo fleet.

Space Conference
|
The ISP Group was represented at the 5th European Space Propulsion Conference near Heraklion, Crete, between 5th and 8th May. Our thanks go to all delegates who took the time to meet with us and we look forward to many positive actions from these discussions. Thanks also to 3AF for a well-organised event.
The ISP presentation may be downloaded here, and the paper on mobile chemical analysis will be available shortly. |
SAR-Lupe FM4
|
The successful fuelling campaign prior to the launch of SAR Lupe FM4 was supported by ISP (in conjunction with EADS Astrium GmbH for OHB System).
http://www.ohb-system.de/gb/News/presse/2803_08.html This follows on from previous successes on FM1 to FM3, and the series will culminate with FM5 in July 2008. The SAR Lupe propulsion system is a monopropellant design, and all launches are from Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia. |
Giove B
|
ISP performed subsystem test campaigns at ESTEC Noordwyck on the GIOVE-B monopropellant subsystem in October and December 2007, and again in January 2008, in support of thruster replacement activities. The Company subsequently supported the test and launch campaign during March and April 2008 in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, in conjunction with EADS Astrium GmbH for ESA. http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/GIOVE-B_launch/index.html |
